Crystal Lake South 4, Jacobs 1: The Golden Eagles (4-7-2, 3-3) were able to score first but could not hold off the Gators' (13-3-2, 5-1) strong offensive attack in this Fox Valley (Valley) matchup.

Jacobs' Neil Comfort scored an unassisted goal but then the Gators' Carey Bienert found the back of the net on assists from Andy DeBoer and Adam Gatza. Jacob Stock then scored what would be the eventual game-winner off assists from Trevor Bittenbender and Gatza. Charlie Oliver picked up 2 insurance goals for the Gators in the second half while Jon Gutmann recorded an assist and Gatza registered his third assist in the match. Dave Walsh recorded 3 saves in goal for the Gators while the Golden Eagles' Danny Trevor and A.J. Pfatschbacher combined for 3 saves.

Huntley 2, Rockford Jefferson 0: The Red Raiders (5-7-2) earned a 2-0 victory in a very physical match against Rockford Jefferson in the Hampshire Invite. Javier Diaz recorded an unassisted goal in the first half and an assist to Kyle Lewandowski's insurance goal in the second half. Kevin Montelongo preserved the shutout with 1 save in goal.

Westminster Christian 8, IMSA 0: The Warriors (9-3-1) scored early and often en route to a nonconference victory over IMSA. Ishmael Yemoh and J.J. Marshall paced the Warriors' offense recording 2 goals apiece while Josh Beachler and Steven Hoeflich each added a goal and an assist. Brian Beachler and Tim Rogers recorded Westminster's other 2 goals while Chris Richardson and Luke Carani added 1 assist a piece. Scott Sutarik earned the shutout in goal with 10 saves.

Lake Park 4, Larkin 1: The Royals (2-10-3, 0-4-1) remained winless in Upstate Eight Conference play. Danny Leyva scored Larkin's lone goal off a feed from Billy Weber. Omar Hernandez recorded 10 saves in goal for the Royals.
