Palatine Park District: Volleyball and basketball leagues begin Jan. 9 and run through March 13, at Falcon Park Recreation Center. Youth Basketball League: South Barrington youth basketball leagues are available for boys and girls in first-eighth grade. Teams will be formed in late fall and games will be played form January through March 2010. All teams are headed by a volunteer coach and all players receive a participation trophy.
