Palatine Travelers Baseball/Softball Tryouts: Saturday, Aug. 8. Tryouts for boys: 8:30 a.m. 10-year old team; 10:30 a. m. 11-year old team; 12:30 p.m. 12-year old team; 8:30 a.m. 13-year old team 1:30 p.m. 14-year old team, at Hamilton fields. Tryouts for girls: 4-6 p.m. U-10 team; 2-4 p.m.; U-12 team and 2-6 p.m. U-14 team at Community Park fields. Sunday, Aug. 9, will include those players who make the first cut and are invited back.
