District 87 seeks input:

A Glenbard High School District 87 community survey will be available online through June 30. The district is conducting the survey to collect residents' perceptions of the district and to set priorities. The results also will be shared on the Web site, glenbard87.org.

Carol Stream parks input:

Carol Stream Park District will collect input from residents during a forum at 7:30 p.m. June 10 at the Aldrin Community Center, 391 Illini Drive. The CSParks 2025 committee likely will focus on four areas: a recreation center to replace Aldrin Community Center; an indoor pool; park trails and lights; and long-term care of parks and facilities. Aurora prepares to close road:

Sullivan Road in Aurora will be closed between Landmark Road and Eastwood Drive beginning Monday morning to allow for installation of a storm sewer crossing. The work will continue throughout the day.

Glen Ellyn welcomes authors:

Glen Ellyn Public Library will play host to three authors for South Asian Author Night at 7 p.m. June 9. The event will include readings, discussions and book signings at the library, 400 Duane St. The authors will include Tania James, who wrote "Atlas of Unknowns," Minal Hajratwala, who wrote "Leaving India," and Mary Ann Mohanraj, who wrote "Bodies in Motion."
