Ronchetto, Spartans win

Brianna Pasquale smacked a two-run double in the third inning and added an RBI double in the fifth as St. Francis (9-2) defeated Chicago Christian 5-2. Taylor Ronchetto (5-1) struck out 12 and allowed just 2 unearned runs.

Naperville North 7, Streamwood 1: Sammy Marshall went 2-for-4 and drove in 2 runs and Lauren Clouston 2-for-3 and scored 2 runs for the Huskies (5-1). Emily Dieckmann (1-0) fired a 2-hitter.

Downers Grove South 13, Downers Grove North 3: Marissa Mersch went 3-for-4, scored 3 runs, stole 2 bases and drove in a run for the Mustangs (4-1). Katie Jelinek went 2-for-3 with 5 RBI and Brooke Andresen 2-for-3.

Hinsdale South 3, Mt. Assisi 2: Meghan D'Andrea drove in 2 runs and Dana Capocci went 2-for-4 to back Carly Hinni's one-hitter for the Hornets.

Immaculate Conception 19, Proviso West 1: Erin Dunne went 3-for-4 with a single, double, triple, 4 runs scored and 5 RBI and Jessica Oscar had 3 hits, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI for the Knights (6-4). Jocelyn Sanchez scored 4 runs and Briana Iosco (2-2) struck out seven.

Batavia 4, Glenbard South 2: Christine Lynam went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for the Bulldogs, who broke up a 2-2 tie with a two-run fifth against Glenbard South (1-7, 0-2 Western Sun Conference).

Trinity 13, Driscoll 11: Katelynn Conenna slugged a fourth-inning grand slam for the Highlanders (4-7).

Newark 4, Wheaton Academy 3: Kim Olson (0-1) struck out eight while allowing 5 hits in the loss for Wheaton Academy (2-2). Fellow freshman Bitsy Weaver had a triple and 2 RBI.

Wilmington 4, Lisle 2: Brianne Prindeville went 2-for-2 with a triple for Lisle (4-4, 0-1 Interstate Eight Conference).
