Grayslake

•Mario T. McCoy, 22, of the 4700 block of West Leon Terrace, Milwaukee, Wis., was arrested March 7 at routes 83 and 120 and charged with a traffic violation, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon.

Gurnee

•Thieves stole three 40-gallon water heaters and five or six refrigerators stored in an underground garage as scrap at an apartment complex on the 1800 block of North Delany Road early morning March 11. Total value was estimated at $810.

Ingleside

•Vandals shot BB-gun pellets into a window and screen at a home on the 26100 block of Rollins Road around 11:15 p.m. March 7. Damage was estimated at $300 to $400.

Island Lake

•Donald J. Brown, 38, of the W1000 block of Hyacinth Road, Genoa, Wis., and Lisa M. Braden, 34, of the 8500 block of Wynn Road, Spring Grove, were arrested around 2:10 a.m. March 14 on a traffic stop at Neville and Dowell roads. Brown was charged with attempted obstruction of justice and permitting an unauthorized person to drive while under the influence of alcohol. Braden was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations. A court date is April 20.

Lake Zurich

•Burglars stole a GPS valued at $380 out of an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of Jonathan Road around 11 a.m. March 10.

Libertyville

•Burglars stole two pairs of sunglasses and loose change out of a 2005 Audi station wagon in a driveway on the 100 block of Brookhill Road around 9 p.m. March 9. Total value was estimated at $177.

Mundelein

•Scott R. Grossenbach, 32, of the 500 block of South Prairie Avenue, Mundelein, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. March 11 on Route 45 at Lakeview Drive and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, driving under the influence, and traffic violations. His court date is April 3.

Round Lake

•Bradford R. Riffle, 42, of the 200 block of Brierhill Drive, Round Lake Park, was arrested around 6 a.m. March 4 at the Metra depot, 418 Railroad Ave., and charged with public intoxication after an officer found him sleeping on a bench. His court date is April 28.

Round Lake Beach

•Burglars broke into vehicles on the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Barberry Lane overnight March 7-8 and stole a satellite radio from one vehicle and a GPS unit out of another. No value estimates were available.

•Burglars stole radios out of two vehicles on the 1200 block of Beverly Drive around 4 p.m. March 7.

Vernon Hills

•Bryan J. Conway, 18, of the 900 block of North Vernon Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested March 8 at Hawthorn and Lakeview parkways and charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is April 27.

Wauconda

•Vandals scratched a Jeep at the police department, 311 S. Main St., around 2:30 p.m. March 9.

•Vandals slashed tires on a vehicle on the 300 block of Brown Street overnight March 9-10.
