•Burglars stole a men's wallet valued at $48 out of a 2000 Toyota Sienna van between midnight and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in an apartment lot on the 36000 block of Grand Oaks Court.

•Thieves stole four tires and wheels valued at $764 from a 1999 Dodge pickup truck in a driveway on the 35000 block of Wilson Road overnight Jan. 20-21.

•Burglars broke into a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck overnight Jan. 19-20 at a home on the 37200 block of Sistina Avenue and stole drills, sanders, frame gun, trim gun, drywall router, and saws. Total value was estimated at $2,000.

•Mario Ybarra, 39, of the 3500 block of Oakwood Road, Island Lake, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. Jan. 26 at Route 12 and Old McHenry Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (marijuana pipe). His court date is March 2.

•Vandals spray-painted gang graffiti on three townhouse buildings on the 26200 and 26300 blocks of Green Street in the Village Green subdivision overnight Jan. 24-25. Damage was estimated at less than $300.

•Vandals spray-painted gang graffiti on no parking, weight restriction, and tow away signs on the 35100 block of Fairfield Road on an unknown date but reported Jan. 24. A damage estimate was not available.

•Vandals smashed the rear window on a 2006 Volkswagen Passat on the 1400 block of Turnbull between 10 p.m. Jan. 18 and 4:20 p.m. Jan. 19. A damage estimate was not available.

•Prentiss A. McKnight, 47, of the 6500 block of South Hoyne Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Jan. 24 at Sam's Club, 335 N. Milwaukee Ave., and charged with four counts of forgery after he used fraudulent checks at Sam's Club and three other stores. His court date was not available.

•Andrew H. Hunt, 17, of the 900 block of Wembley Street, Island Lake, was arrested around 8:30 a.m. Jan. 23 at Wauconda High School, 555 N. Main St., and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is Feb. 11.
