Kirk School Spring Showcase of Arts and Crafts: March 7 and 8, at the school, 520 S. Plum Grove Road, Palatine. Artists and crafters of original work only are being sought. Stamp Camp: 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, Bartlett Community Center, 700 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett. Learn how to make hand stamped and decorated cards and envelopes using rubber stamps, cardstock, ink and embellishments. Class open to ages over 18. $20-$25, advance registration required. March 7

Spring fashion and gift show: The Schaumburg High School VIP Club invites vendors to participate in its Spring Fashion & Gift Show on March 7. They are seeking a variety of offerings such as jewelry, candles, handbags, accessories, fragrances, skin care as well as unique and whimsical gift ideas. 50 spaces are available. Two fashion shows will also be held during the event, featuring spring apparel and prom fashions sponsored by local retailers.
