Hadassah North Shore Chapter food collection: Collecting food, cleaning supplies, diapers and paper goods, such as Baggies and tinfoil for the Northfield Food Pantry. Bring donations to the North Shore office at 1724 First St, Highland Park.

"Harvest for Hope": Food drive sponsored by the Student Council and Public Service Practicum students at Elk Grove High School. Goal is 10,000 cans/nonperishable foods to benefit local food pantries by Nov. 21 Donation table will be set up in the front entrance of the school to support collections. Student Council and PSP students will drop off grocery bags on some local doorsteps, soliciting donations.

The The recipe book can be purchased at three Elk Grove Park District locations, the Pavilion, the Hattendorf Center and Rainbow Falls Community Center. Included with the 300 recipes is a history of the Park District Senior Center.
