Dine on Asian food at Woodstock breakfast
Savor some of the authentic and exotic tastes of this Asian culture. Visitors will almost be able to feel the warm breezes coming off the water and beaches of the Indian Ocean as they sample authentic breakfast cuisine. They will be whisked away to the mountains and will experience the cool morning fog hovering over the tea plantations.
Ornamental Buddhist and Hindu temples await guests as they experience the delicate and sometimes spicy (if you prefer) breakfast foods.
The breakfast is planned from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Congregational Unitarian Church, 221 Dean St. in Woodstock.
Cost is $7 for adults; $4 for children under 12; and free for children under age 5. Tickets are available at the church office or phone, (847) 338-1633 or e-mail to mail@bluelotustemple.org.
