Last year: WW South 13, Glenbard North 7.

Last week: Glenbard North 35, Wheaton North 14; WW South 48, West Chicago 6.

Outlook: With last week's dominant victory WW South ran its DVC winning streak to 22 and its regular-season win streak to 30.

Tonight the Tigers will attempt to win for the fifth straight time against Glenbard North. The disruptive Panthers defense starts with linemen Charleston Soko and Kyle Schwetz. Along with the linebackers they helped put Wheaton North's offense through a rough night - especially in the second half.

Can Tigers running backs Peter Jarrett and Mike Olp find consistency behind a young line still gaining experience?

The quarterback comparison is interesting: Heralded Northwestern-bound Panthers signalcaller Evan Watkins and first-year Tigers counterpart Joe Furco. Both have been solid, both are dangerous.

WW South's defense thrives on quickness, primarily from linebackers Pat Dansdill - who caused 2 turnovers last week - and James Eshleman.
