Alzheimer's group seeks walkers for fundraiser

Alzheimer's Association - Greater Illinois Chapter are asking for participation in the McHenry County Memory Walk, Sunday, Sept. 14 at Sunset Park, Lake in the Hills.

Many have already signed up for the McHenry County Memory Walk, but more teams are still needed.

Last year with the help of corporate sponsors and more than 300 walkers $80,000 was raised. This year's goal is $100,000. Proceeds of the Memory Walk go back into the community to provide support, education, and services to people in McHenry County with Alzheimer's disease, their families and caregivers.
