• Internet Basics will be offered at 7 p.m. Thursday and again at 10 a.m. Friday at the Addison Public Library, 2 Friendship Plaza. • Free career counseling is offered from 9 a.m. to noon the third Thursday of each month at the Helen M. Plum Memorial Library, 110 W. Maple St., Lombard. A counselor from Lombard's Jewish Vocational Service will tailor a 30-minute session to each participant's needs. Possible topics include how to organize job searches, developing resumes and cover letters, practice interviews and more. Appointments are required.
