• The Jameson Irish Whiskey Comedy Tour comes to the Improv Comedy Club Chicago, 5 Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, today through Sunday. • The AMA Arenacross Pro-Motorcycle Racing and 4 x 4 Mudbog will be Friday through Sunday at the Sears Centre, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates. The event includes races featuring some of the best-known motorcyclists in the Midwest. The Bigfoot monster truck also will attempt to plow through a 200-foot mud pit. Giera is an award-winning artist who works in a variety of media, including pastels, photography, pen and ink and watercolor. Admission to the reception is free.
