Palatine/Inverness Arts Council: The Palatine/Inverness Arts Council will hold its "First Saturday" reception to meet local artists from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Artistic Cuisine, 16 S. Woodstock Squares: Woodstock Squares will hold square dance lessons at 7:30 p.m. on every Tuesday for 10 weeks at Whispering Hills Community Center, 4708 Jeffrey St., Johnsburg.
