Hampshire 2, Genoa-Kingston 1: Hampshire managed to come through after triple overtime with a huge victory defeating Genoa-Kingston 2-1. Shay Hauck scored the first goal unassisted for the second-seeded Whips.
"Both teams wanted this game. I give all the credit in the world to Genoa. Cameron (Rath) was great for us in goal," said Hampshire coach Patrick O'Brien. "Shay Hauck was involved in both scores and played one of his best games of the year. Mic Anderson and Ryan Ponomar were a force for us on defense."

Streamwood d. Elgin: After Katie Post recorded the first 6 Streamwood points in Game 2 against Elgin, the Sabres were looking to cruise.
So was Elgin, which wound up with the victory in Game 2 25-19.
Post then decided to repeat her efforts, scoring 5 of the Sabres' first 9 points in the decisive Game 3, with Streamwood hanging on to win 25-18, 19-25, 25-17 in a nonconference Senior Night match.
"We were doing good and then we got anxious," said Post, who finished with a match-high 22 kills. "We didn't play as well as we would have wanted."
Up 10-3, Streamwood was looking to cruise after being awarded a point. As quickly as Post (3 blocks) had slammed the ball into Elgin's back row to gain the score, the Sabres had their momentum changed when a net violation call reversed the kill. Elgin (6-20) would come within 13-12 on a Streamwood hitting error.
The Sabres (11-14) continued their slight advantage all the way up to a 17-17 tie. Post broke the tie with 1 of her 8 Game 3 kills and the Sabres scored the rest of the way. A pair of Elgin hitting errors, set up three-straight Post kills, an Amber Lightbourne (22 assists) service point and Maxine Andren's match-winning point.
"It's always big when you lead in the third game, especially if you lose the second game," Sabres' coach Kevin Kwon said.
Elgin was hoping for an identical Game 2 performance. Streamwood went up 11-4, mostly courtesy of Post's 7 Game 2 kills. Elgin used 5 missed serves from Streamwood to knot things at 15. After exchanging the next 3 points, Teri Scimeca gave the Maroons the lead for good with a kill.
"We've been working on keeping our intensity," Elgin outside hitter Lindsay Morrow. "We played to win. With the aces and kills, each one made our confidence grow more and more."
Morrow's ace brought Elgin to within 14-13, midway through Game 2. The Maroons finished with 4 aces in the second game.
Freshman Kendall Martin led the Maroons with 6 kills, while Brandi Hernandez added 3.
"We were revitalized," Maroons' coach Keith Foster said. "We didn't want to lose."
Streamwood broke open a close Game 1 when an Elgin net violation and hitting error changed the Sabres' lead from 17-16 to 18-16. Hue Le (8 digs, 3 aces) extended the lead to 19-16 and Elgin never rebounded. Post scored the final 3 Streamwood points.
