•Christopher J. Weber, 35, last known address 81795 State Highway 13, Washburn, Wis., was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Aug. 12 and charged with battery to a police officer after he hit an officer in the chest at Bootleggers, 25491 Old Grass Lake Road, police said. His court date was not available.

•A motorist drove away around 6:25 p.m. Aug. 10 without paying for gas valued at $60 at Lake-Cook Shell, 20020 Rand Road, police said.

•Burglars cut a canvas cover, pried and damaged a cabin door, and stole two speakers mounted next to the front seats Aug. 6 on a boat moored at Bayview Park, police said. Damage and value were estimated at $2,250.

Grayslake

•Janette Wence, 19, 892 Crestville Court, Gurnee, was arrested Aug. 11 and charged with possession of a controlled substance after an officer found her with cocaine at Ashford Lane and South Atkinson Road, police said. A court date was not available.

Gurnee

•A customer used a counterfeit travelers check around 1 p.m. Aug. 9 to pay for food at Red Lobster, 6230 Route 132, police said. Value was estimated at $500.

•Thieves stole a purse with money, a bank card and social security card around 5 p.m. Aug. 9 after the female victim left it on a table in Chucky Cheese, 1512 Nations Drive, police said. Value was estimated at $80.

Hawthorn Woods

•Lydmila G. Kopteva, 18, 818 Braemar Drive, Mundelein, was arrested around 11:25 p.m. Aug. 4 and charged with minor consumption of alcohol after an officer stopped her car for a traffic violation at Midlothian and Old McHenry roads and discovered she had been drinking alcohol, police said. A Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 15.

Ingleside

•Vandals bashed a mailbox Aug. 12 at a home on the 26300 block of Wooster Lake Drive, police said. Damage was estimated at $40.

Island Lake

•Vandals slashed tires on a 1988 Toyota overnight Aug. 12 to 13 parked at a home on the 200 block of Dorothy Court, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Kildeer

•Thieves stole materials Aug. 6 from a construction site in the Sanctuary Club subdivision on Route 22 near Krueger Road, police said. Value was estimated at $325.

Lake Villa

•Vandals kicked open the front door, damaging the door frame, and smashed a Thermal Pane second floor window overnight Aug. 6 to 7 at the front of a house under construction on the 21600 block of Sarah Drive, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Lake Zurich

•A landlord removed property belonging to a leasee Aug. 9 from a building on the 700 block of Oakwood Road, police said. Value was estimated at $8,000 to $10,000. An investigation continues.

•Ana M. Arteaga-Gil, 24, 1225 Briar Lane, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 4:10 a.m. Aug. 11 and charged with illegal open transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol after an officer stopped her car for traffic violations on Route 12 at Ela Road, police said. According to reports, she failed field sobriety tests. Her Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 10.

Libertyville

•Vandals scratched a 2007 Dodge Caliber between 7:45 p.m. Aug. 5 and 10:15 a.m. Aug. 6 parked on Wright Court, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Mundelein

•Soon Beom Park, 40, 1351 S. Janice Lane, Round Lake, was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Aug. 9 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an officer stopped his car for traffic violations on the 500 block of Townline Road and found marijuana and a drug pipe in the car, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 24.

Round Lake

•Burglars stole power tools between Aug. 4 and 8 from an unlocked detached garage at a home on the 24800 block of Clinton Avenue, police said. Value was estimated at $3,814.

Round Lake Beach

•Anna Z. Tobijasinska, 18, 25662 W. Wacker Drive, Lake Villa, was arrested around 6:15 p.m. Aug. 7 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, saw her take merchandise valued at $104 and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.

•Burglars stole an MP3 player and wallet around 2 p.m. Aug. 8 from a vehicle parked on the 1300 block of Pine Grove Drive, police said. Value was estimated at $300.

•A motorist drove away around 1:45 p.m. Aug. 8 without paying for gas at Thornton's, 180 E. Rollins Road, police said. Value was estimated at $61.

Vernon Hills

•Richard W. Chuk, 23, 4343 N. Clarendon Ave., Apt. 2715, Chicago, and Tony J. Klimczak, 43, Tony J. Klimczak Jr., 23, and Susan Klimczak, 41, all of 1015 Garfield Ave., Libertyville, were arrested Aug. 5 after an officer stopped their car for a traffic violation on Milwaukee Avenue at Hollister Drive, police said. Chuk was charged with open transportation of alcohol and traffic violations and received a Mundelein court date of Aug. 27, reports said. Tony Klimczak was charged with assault and resisting a police officer; Tony Klimczak Jr. was charged with resisting a police officer; Susan Klimczak was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer, reports added. Their Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 29.

Wauconda

•Amanda M. Danner, 19, 417 S. Mail St., Wauconda, was arrested Aug. 4 and charged with minor consumption of alcohol after an officer found her at Liberty and Brown streets and determined she had been drinking alcohol, police said. Her Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 12.
