St. Theresa's Production of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast Jr.'

St. Theresa School students have been working diligently for the past few months after school and during music class to prepare for this year's annual production of Disney's BEAUTY and the BEAST JR. Actors ranging in grades 5-8 auditioned for the musical. This year's lead role of "Belle" was awarded to 7th grader Jessica Vollmert. Jessica's voice is simply beautiful. Jessica is beyond thrilled to share her talent on Stage with many of her classmates. Joining Jessica, is Jack Herbst in the role of the "Beast," Grace Herbst as "Lumiere" and Luke Meehan as "Gaston" along with many other performers.

The students' theater skills have grown under the direction of Jessica Texidor and Linda Madonia of Dream Big Education. According to teacher Lynn Salvetti, "They have been very impressed with how polite, kind, hardworking, and talented the students of St. Theresa School are."

There will be three performances:

Friday, April 12th at 9:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. and Saturday, April 13th at 7:00 P.M.. Tickets are $7.00 and can be purchased the day of the performance. St. Theresa School is located at 445 N. Benton Street in Palatine. Be our guest and enjoy!
