Bloomingdale Mental Health Board Appointed

Bloomingdale Township Supervisor Michael D. Hovde, Jr. has appointed the following residents of Bloomingdale Township to the Bloomingdale Township Mental Health Board

Kim Cline, of unincorporated Glen Ellyn, an educator working as a director of special education for a local school district;

Kirk Etapa of Carol Stream, a law enforcement officer with certificates in mental health and crisis intervention;

Edward Levato of Bloomingdale, a licensed attorney, former elementary school board member and former township supervisor;

Cindy Franceschini of Bloomingdale, a funeral home manager with 20 years of health care experience;

Diana Eckert of Roselle, Zoning Board of Appeals member, former Village Trustee, former Co-executive director and trained mentor with Stepping Stones for Women of Domestic Violence;

Dominick Lanzito of Roselle, licensed attorney concentrating in civil rights, former assistant state's attorney, member of Fire and Police Commission;

Michael McGinn of Roselle, Bloomingdale Township Trustee and Township Board representative on the Mental Health Board.

Supervisor Hovde stated "As a newly formed entity, the Bloomingdale Township Mental Health Board needs dedicated residents with diverse backgrounds to help establish and shape the future of the Board. I am pleased to announce the appointment of these seven outstanding individuals who have graciously agreed to perform public service in order to better our community."

Bloomingdale Township was platted in 1839, and organized in 1849. The Township has over 111,000 residents as of the 2010 census. The Township is comprised of communities including the entire Village of Bloomingdale and portions of the Villages of Addison, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Itasca, and Roselle. Unincorporated areas of the Township include the areas of Medinah, Mallard Lake Estates, Nordic Park, Itasca Ranchettes, Glen Ellyn Countryside, Keeneyville, Lombard, and a small portion of Schaumburg.
