'Feathers and Fouettés' features excerpts from Swan Lake, other new works March 18

The iconic image of 36 ethereal classical ballet dancers soaring in unison in white tutus to the moving music from Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" will be a sight not to miss Saturday, March 18, at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake.

The Berkshire Ballet Theatre will present "Feathers and Fouettés," a duel-themed performance featuring some of the most famous excerpts from this virtuosic ballet, "Swan Lake."

For those audience members who are drawn more toward contemporary and jazz styles, the program also will feature five stunning new works choreographed by Summers Academy of Dance professional faculty.

A production not to be missed!

This program has something for everyone including the jaw dropping, breathtaking corps de ballet of 36 graceful Swans moving as one throughout the intricate and demanding choreography.

Show times are at 3 and 6 p.m. at Prairie Ridge High School, 6000 Dvorak Drive in Crystal Lake.
