Brand Innovation Quest® Will Bring Successful Innovators and Business Leaders Together to Inspire, Motivate, and Drive Change

Throughout a series of fireside chats, panel discussions, and brand and innovation "mindhuddles," corporate managers and entrepreneurs will be able to hear from highly respected industry visionaries as they share their insights about strategic branding and innovation issues that can transform their businesses.

According to Patty Lindstrom, CEO of Creative Logic, Inc., founder of Living the Brand® Institute, and producer of the event, "This will be an exciting day that will energize and enlighten our guests, changing the way many of them look at their businesses. It will help top managers differentiate their brands in an era of fierce competition and strengthen their business strategies with brand values that can survive a perpetual market of disruption."

The conference will focus on four themes: What makes a strong brand and why should we care? How is branding at the center of business development and disruptive technologies? How can businesses build or transform a breakthrough organization with big data? And Why are branding and innovation interdependent?

The speakers and panelists have led innovations that have disrupted and transformed numerous business models. Some of these exceptional thought leaders include:

• Harry Gottlieb, founder of Jellyvision and developer of the trivia game called "You Don't Know Jack," one of the most successful interactive franchises of all time. Gottlieb discovered the core concepts of a new way to make interactive communications more engaging, now known as Interactive Conversation Interface. Through bold, out-of-the-box thinking and humor, Jellyvision has revolutionized interactive communications for many Fortune 1000 clients.

• Joseph Bradley, president of business ventures at Uptake, one of Chicago's fastest-growing tech companies, and Joe Becker, director of Uptake Rail. Uptake helps companies collect and understand immense amounts of data, transforming that data into action, such as preventing equipment downtime, helping trains run faster, and making power grids smarter.

• Sean Chou, an early pioneer in cloud technology. Chou was formerly chief technology officer at Fieldglass SAP and is the co-founder and CEO of Catalytic, a recent startup that helps companies automate business processes.

• Tim McEnery, founder and CEO of Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, whose dream of combining the risky restaurant and wine businesses resulted in a unique business model and a thriving restaurant/winery chain. Today, highly profitable Cooper's Hawk has 25 locations in 8 states and has earned hundreds of wine awards.

Other key speakers and panelists include, Tom Carroll, executive vice president of human resources for RR Donnelley; George Vukotich, former senior vice president of 1871, Chicago's Center for Technology and Entrepreneurship; Jason Ebel, co-founder of Two Brothers Brewery; Todd Farwell, Innovation Architect at Caterpillar, Inc.; Kevin O'Shea, partner, intellectual property group, at IceMiller; and Pam Buchanan, managing director of NASDAQ OMX. Dr. Troy Hammond, president of North Central College, and Martha Carney, executive director of the college's ConVerge - The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will also participate in a discussion of the importance of startups and educators working together.

Patty Lindstrom will serve as moderator and panelist. "We encourage senior executives, marketers, and entrepreneurs to join us at this branding and innovation conference," she said.
