Grand Opening Of LifeWorking Coworking's Unique Office Space Promotes Business Owners, Corporate Telecommuters, Entrepreneurs Success In Work And Life

LAKE FOREST - LifeWorking Coworking's trend-setting, collaborative office space for startups, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and corporate telecommuters officially opens with a weeklong grand opening event starting October 3 at 717 Forest Avenue, 2nd floor, Lake Forest.

Events include ribbon cutting, showcase of the 8,000-square-foot space, Get To Know Us lunch, introduction of members, and a showcase of community entrepreneurship programs paired with food from local restaurants.

The schedule for the event, for business people considering becoming members in an office environment that encourages achieving their work goals and finding more time for something as important - enjoying their personal lives - includes:

•Monday, October 3, 5 pm to 7 pm: Ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:15 pm, including Lake Forest Mayor Donald P. Schoenheider, city council members, and other dignitaries; and showcasing the space and its amenities. The event will be catered by Sunset Foods.

•Tuesday, October 4, 11 am to 1 pm: Get To Know Us Lunch and open house.

•Thursday, October 6, 5 pm to 7 pm: Entrepreneurism in the Community Showcase. The Lake Forest High School Business Accelerator, Lake Forest College Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Lake Forest Business Accelerator will showcase both their programs and students/businesses.

"Working and enjoying life…this is a movement," said Steve Whittington, corporate "lifer" turned entrepreneur and founder and CEO of his first LifeWorking Coworking space opening in picturesque downtown Lake Forest.

"Our focus is on business as well as what makes our lives complete outside of work, how important it is to make the time to focus on family and the other things we love to do to personally feel fulfilled," he said.

LifeWorking Coworking, nestled within the historic, renowned city of Lake Forest with its highly-regarded mix of dining, night life, social events, and shopping, offers both dedicated and "flex" membership options.
