If you're interested in joining a group that provides volunteer and educational opportunities, come to the Wauconda Township Office on Bonner Road the second Wednesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. We have other units in many parts of Lake County that meet at different times on different days. Discover how we encourage heritage arts, make book bags and collect books for children, sheet for PADS, sew holiday stockings for servicepeople, etc. Each year we study a different country - learning about its culture, foods, traditions at our monthly meetings. We also have a free lunch once a year featuring foods from that country homemade by our members.
