Elderwerks to host senior fair Aug. 12
Elderwerks will host an Education and Resource Senior Fair from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake. The theme is "You're Never Too Old to Learn or Have Fun!"
The Elderwerks Education and Resource Senior Fair is an expo of education, services and products geared to active seniors as well as a day of fun and entertainment.
There will be 27 educational classes on retirement and beyond. Lunch will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be an "Expo of Community Resources." Violinist Martin Lopez will perform from 9 to 11 a.m. and Yazz Jazz from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
