Administer Justice offers seminar on student loans

Administer Justice, a local non-profit providing free legal, financial, tax controversy and educational services to low-income individuals, will hold a free "Understanding Student Loans" seminar on Thursday, July 10.

The seminar will be held from noon to 1:00pm at the organization's main office located at 1750 Grandstand Place, Elgin. Topics covered in this one-hour presentation will include: basics of student loans, differences between federal and private student loans, collection methods and payment modification/discharge options.

Attorney David Ward, a volunteer with Administer Justice, will be presenting. The seminar is free and open to all however, space is limited and you must RSVP in advance by emailing seminars@administerjustice.org or by calling (847) 844-1100.

Administer Justice, a faith based non-profit legal aid takes a holistic approach to client care. The organization, headquartered in Elgin, served over 6,300 individuals in 2013 with the help of hundreds of volunteers who donated over 12,000 hours serving low income individuals from throughout the northwest suburbs.
