Cadence Health Winfield Run coming up July 20

5K and 10K races at the Cadence Health Winfield Run take place on Sunday, July 20 at 7:30 A.M. The USATF certified route (IL-11158-JW, IL-11159-JW) will start and end on the Central DuPage Hospital campus. Central DuPage Hospital is located at 25 North Winfield Road in Winfield.

Up to 10 P.M. July 17, the registration fee for the 5K and 10K events is $25, after July 17, $30. Race day registration is available starting at 6:30 A.M. The registration fee for runners age 11 and under is $15. T-shirts will be included in the fee for the first 400 to register.

The run will benefit the Winfield Historical Society and its project to support a museum of the history of the Winfield area in Hedges Station, the oldest building in Winfield and the oldest remaining depot in Illinois. With restoration complete, funds are needed to maintain and furnish the building, as well as to develop exhibits and programs.

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers, male and female, in each race. Medals will go to the top three finishers in each age group.
