The Tri-Village Garden Club of Bartlett, Hanover Park and Streamwood invites everyone to join us for a discussion with examples of all nine divisions of true lilies brought to us by: Dr. Woody Imberman, President of the Wisconsin-Illinois Lily Society. Dr. Imberman will review how to plant and care for "true lilies". He will also show simple propagation techniques to increase the shoals of lilies in your garden. He will be speaking at 7:00pm on Wed. April 16th at the Poplar Creek Public Library at 1405 S. Park in Streamwood, IL.

The Tri-Village Garden Club's annual Plant Sale will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 (the Saturday after Mother's Day) from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or until we sell out. Rain or shine at Banbury Fair, 211 Railroad Avenue, in downtown Bartlett, across the street from the old train depot). We will specialize in perennials that attract pollinators: Hummingbirds, Butterflies and Bees. Great Garden Treasures will be offered at Bargain Prices and club members will provide additional varieties selected from their gardens. There is free parking nearby in the Metro spaces. There will be experienced gardeners on hand to answer your gardening questions.

Fairy Gardens will be the program for the monthly meeting of the Tri-Village Garden Club. presented by Jan Hanson, Master Gardener, Univ. of Illinois Ext. on Wed. May 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Poplar Creek Public Library at 1405 S. Park in Streamwood, IL. Guests welcome.

June 18, 2014 Laura Christensen, Landscape Architect will present her program titled "A Landscape Love Affair. at 7:00 p.m. at the Poplar Creek Public Library at 1405 S. Park in Streamwood, IL. Laura is an experienced landscape architect with her B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Univ. of Wisconsin and her M.S. in City Planning from Northwestern Univ. in Evanston. Her Wheaton garden has been featured in area newspapers.

July 16, 2014 "Foraging for Edibles" will be presented by David Brooks of Spring Valley Nature Center of Schaumburg at 7:00 p.m. at the Poplar Creek Public Library at 1405 S. Park in Streamwood, IL.
