Parents, teachers, administrators, and school board members can discuss the state of education in the community, share their ideas for future legislation, identify concerns, and review current education bills during an advisory committee meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12. It will be at the Vernon Hills High School library, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The education citizens advisory committee meeting is hosted by state Rep. Carol Sente of Vernon Hills.
