A senior citizen fraud prevention seminar is set for 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Vernon Hills Park District's Laschen Community Center, 294 Evergreen Drive, Vernon Hills. The seminar will include a presentation on how seniors can avoid financial exploitation and scams, better protect themselves from identity theft, and recognize deceptive business practices.
