Palatine Park District

Tom T. Hamilton Reservoir, located at 1037 North Smith Street in Palatine, is home to the Ron Gbur Sports Fields featuring athletic fields for soccer, football, baseball and softball. The park also offers two picnic shelters, a playground, and a path around the park that provides access to the Palatine Trail.

Palatine Park District is asking our residents and visitors to share how much we love our park with the entire country. Hamilton is entered in the Coca-Cola "America is Your Park" Contest for 2013. The 1st through 3rd place winners of the contest will receive $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively, to restore, rebuild, or enhance places within the park where people can be active. The 4th through 25th place winners will be placed into a random drawing for an additional $15,000 grant.
