NEDSRA Stars Shine Brightly

The Northeast Dupage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA) held its annual awards banquet last Wednesday to celebrate the accomplishments of various participants throughout the year. Tyler Brandt of Lombard was awarded the Superstar Athlete award for his accomplishments in track & field. Nicole Powell from Villa Park received the Superstar Participant award for her enthusiasm and positive attitude endearing herself to NEDSRA staff members. Young Mackenzie Annoreno won the Rising Star award.

Jeena Greenwalt, Executive Director of NEDSRA, was the MC for the evening. Much appreciation was directed toward the 11 member park districts that support NEDSRA. A special thanks was given to the park districts who were the dinner sponsors of the evening; Oakbrook Terrace, Butterfield, Glendale Heights and the Village of Schiller Park.
