Huntley second at Kearns Invite

Huntley 2nd at Kearns Invite: Huntley scored 195 points to finish second at the Jennifer Kearnes Invitational at Huntley. Harlem won the meet with 229 points, Hampshire was fourth with 165.5 and Crystal Lake South seventh with 98. In the meet, scored by heat finishes, Huntley got firsts from Macy Tramblay (triple jump, 300 hurdles), Alex Shafer (triple jump), Omo Tseumah (high jump), Katelyn Luebke (100 hurdles), Emily Schmidt (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles), Taylor Schau (400) and in the 1,600 relay. Hampshire got firsts from Jenny Dumoulin (shot put, discus), Ashley Fouch (400, 200) and Elizabeth Pagan (200). Crystal Lake South took first in the 3,200 relay.

At Kaneland: Dundee-Crown got fifth-place finishes from Kayla Lawrence in the 200 and Natalie Himmel in the 800 at the Holmes Invite at Kaneland. Emily Michalski was sixth in the high jump for the Chargers, who took seventh in the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
