“The 10 Keys to Vitality” Highlights February's Events at Windsor Park

It's never too late to get started - a good thought when it comes to improving your health. And one that will likely come through clearly when William J. Evans, Ph.D. speaks at Windsor Park, A Covenant Retirement Community in Carol Stream in February.

The public is invited to attend “The 10 Keys to Vitality” on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 10:00 a.m. Although there is no charge to attend, pre-registration is requested by calling (630) 510-4700. Windsor Park is a continuing care retirement community and is located at 124 Windsor Park Drive.

Dr. Evans is Professor of Medicine in the Geriatrics Program at Duke University Medical Center and co-author of “Biomarkers: The 10 Keys to Prolonging Vitality.” His research proves that people can improve their fitness and vitality at any age.

According to Marissa Samaan, Marketing Director for Windsor Park, Dr. Evan's research has examined the relationship between exercise, nutrition, and aging.

“This is an area in which our residents expressed an interest in learning more,” explained Samaan. “We are not only excited that our residents have the opportunity to hear him, but the surrounding community as well.”

A copy of Dr. Evans' book is being given away to the first 20 people who R.S.V.P. For those who aren't winners, copies of his book will be available for purchase at the event. Please call (630) 510-4700 for more information.
