The Promenade will provide a Black Friday Lounge near The Christmas Tree for tired guests to rest & rejuvenate on comfy couches and chairs, a TV with kid’s cartoons, coloring sheets and cell phone recharging stations, provided by the Sprint store, will be open from Midnight until 8 p.m.

To enhance the Black Friday Shopping Experience, The Promenade will run its spectacular Symphony in Lights show throughout the morning hours beginning at midnight and run hourly on the hour till sunrise. The fifteen minute show will then replay hourly on the hour beginning at 5 p.m until 9 p.m. each evening until December 31, 2012.
Famed as the largest commercial holiday light show of its kind in Chicagoland, “Symphony in Lights” features more than 250,000 highly efficient LED lights embedded in thousands of feet of holiday foliage and choreographed to the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The show is created with 1,100 channels of computer programming and 60 computers. The three-song program takes approximately 54,000 clicks on a computer mouse and requires approximately 50 miles of wire to run the electricity.
