Cook of the Week: July 2012
What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? Garlic adds flavor to most everything. I love to roast elephant garlic, mix it with olive oil, grated Romano cheese, salt and pepper as a spread for crusty bread. I do want to note that bacon is God's perfect food so that would be my second choice.
Describe your style or approach to cooking. I like hearty dishes and sauces. As far as approach you have to cook with love. I like to cook food that makes them happy when they eat.
Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? I have participated in two chili cook offs and won the Wisconsin state cook off in 2011. I think it's a blast. It lets me show off my skills and learn from watching others.
