The Environmental Citizen Advisory Committee will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The public meeting will include representatives from Chicago Metropolis 2020, Environmental Law & Policy Center, Illinois Environmental Council, National Resources Defense Council and Sierra Club. Attendees can learn about upcoming environmental legislation and share concerns and ideas with 59th District state Rep. Carol Sente of Vernon Hills and the organizations working closely with legislators on environmental issues. Call (847) 478-9909 or email RepSente@gmail.com.
