Off Campus Writers Workshop To Feature Kenneth N. Green To Discuss His Book I'm From Division Street

Author Kenneth N. Green, who wrote the book "I'm From Division Street," will be the featured speaker at the Off Campus Writers Workshop on Thursday, March 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. He will discuss and sign copies of his book. Networking starts at 9 a.m. The event will take place at the Winnetka Community House 620 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, IL. The fee to attend is $8 for members and $10 for non members. Author/Attorney/Boxer Kenneth N. Green was kicked out of Roosevelt High School 58 years ago but made a comeback after graduating from Roosevelt. His book tells how he rebounded from poverty and academic problems growing up in Humboldt Park to his success as a defense attorney, chief of public defenders in Los Angeles County, boxer, and single parent of a son.
