Noah, a black Labrador retriever, tried to bite the water spraying from a fire hose at the 34th annual Elgin Valley Fox Trot Monday in front of city hall. The spraying water was used by runners to cool down after the races. Noah was with his owner Chris Gruber, who ran in the 5K and joined his dog in the water afterward.

The Harman's found Audrey's great-grandfather's grave and Gough, a Civil War expert, happened to be there to give them additional information on the cemetery. Her ancestor was a corporal for the Union Army in the Civil War.
