In an effort to update local residents on the recent legislative session in Springfield, Democratic state Rep. Michelle Mussman of Schaumburg will host a town-hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, in the gymnasium of Schaumburg Township Hall, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates. "In the last few months, the legislature has tackled many major issues, including improving the state budget process and landmark education reform," Mussman said. "I am very happy to be back home in my district and be able to help my neighbors learn more about what the General Assembly accomplished this year and to address their questions and concerns." Mussman represents the 56th District which includes all or portions of Bloomingdale, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Roselle and Schaumburg.
