State Rep. Carol Sente will host a discussion on education reform, 7:30-9 p.m. Monday, March 14 at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway in Vernon Hills. Among other related subjects Sente will discuss House Bill 2890, which requires 85 percent of state education funding be spent in the classroom or related to classroom expenses; and House Bill 1466, requiring schools to teach responsible use of the Internet and mobile electronic devices.
