Brandon Motzel scored 16 points as Carmel’s boys basketball team defeated visiting Northridge Prep 53-43 Tuesday night for its third win in four games.

Doug Meyer added 10 points for Carmel (9-15).

Zion-Benton 93, Grant 56: Freshman Milik Yarbrough poured in 30 points for the visiting Zee-Bees in the North Suburban Conference crossover.

Grant (14-9) was led by Sean Wells’ 15 points and Vic Muntu’s 12.
