Glenbard North rolls past West Chicago

Glenbard North 60, West Chicago 41:

The Panthers (8-10, 4-5) ripped to a 36-17 halftime lead and rolled to a DuPage Valley Conference win over West Chicago (4-16, 0-9). Josh Fleming led a balanced effort with 16 points while Anthony Keener scored 15 points and Brandon Clark added 11 points. Dylan Hedmark paced West Chicago with 14 points. Justin Mundt scored 12 points and Josh Gimre tallied 11 points.

Fenton 69, Ridgewood 62:

Dan Montano poured in a game-high 33 points as Fenton (7-16, 2-5) topped the Rebels (14-6, 4-3) in Metro Suburban Conference action. Montano, who made all 9 free-throw attempts, scored 25 points in the second half. Jeremy Shimanek added 11 points for the Bison.

Timothy Christian 62, Illiana Christian 58, OT:

The Trojans’ Danny Leach sent the Metro Suburban Conference game to overtime with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, and then put Timothy Christian (13-7, 4-3) ahead to stay with a jumper with 20 seconds left in the extra period. Mark Penczak led the Trojans with 17 points. Leach scored 15 points and Chris Ridolphi added 11 points.

Proviso East 75, Hinsdale South 67:

The Hornets (14-8, 5-4) fell to Proviso East (16-3, 7-1) in the West Suburban Gold despite 20 points apiece from Phil George and Brock Benson.
