Lisle's St. Joan of Arc Catholic School receives third National Blue Ribbon Award

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Lisle recently earned the 2023 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School recognition for academic excellence.

U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized St. Joan of Arc Catholic School as a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School based on the school's high academic performance.

St. Joan of Arc was honored alongside 353 other schools across the nation at a recognition ceremony held Nov. 16-17 in Washington.

The school was recognized as an "exemplary high performing" school, a category in which schools are recognized among their state's highest performing schools as measured by state assessments or nationally-normed tests.

We have been blessed to receive this award three times having previously been awarded in 1986 and 2011.

We are extremely proud of our school community and are grateful to be part of the less than 1% of schools recognized across the country for academic excellence.

St. Joan of Arc, a Catholic school located in Lisle, enrolls approximately 400 students in preschool through eighth grade. The school strives to embrace the whole student academically, emotionally, and socially, and to affirm the uniqueness and dignity of each child. Teachers aim to know each student personally, so they can truly deepen each child's learning experience at St. Joan of Arc.
