Sneaker Con Returns to Chicago June 10th and 11th

Sneaker Con, presented by eBay, is returning to Chicago on June 10-11, 2023 at the Schaumburg Convention Center. This event promises an exciting experience for sneaker enthusiasts, featuring a diverse selection of sneakers, influencer meet-ups, content creation, Authenticity Guarantee service from eBay, main stage for game shows and prizes and the world famous Sneaker Con Trading Pit where anyone can buy, sell, and trade. Attendees can also explore streetwear, vintage items, sports memorabilia, and discover emerging brands.

Sneaker Con was established by Alan Vinogradov, Barris Vinogradov, and Yu-Ming Wu in August 2008, and the inaugural event took place in March 2009, at the Times Square Arts Center in New York. Since then, it has experienced significant growth, expanding internationally with its debut in London in May 2017, and most recently in Guangzhou, China in May 2023. Two years ago, the founders announced the opening of six global warehouses in New York, Las Vegas, Toronto, London, Berlin, and Sydney, exclusively dedicated to authentication services. In November 2021, Sneaker Con successfully concluded a sale of its authentication and marketplace business to eBay. As a result, Sneaker Con events now feature an eBay authenticity booth where a pair of shoes can be authenticated, free of charge, by an expert from eBay's sneaker team.
