Four juniors from Huntley High School attended Rotary Youth Leadership Academy at East Troy, Wisconsin, March 9-12, 2023, and returned, excited to apply their training.

Maddie learned how to interact with people who have different personalities and approaches to working on projects.

Meeting new people helped Christina talk with the Spanish Honors Society leader for Crystal Lake South High School and they agreed to work together.

Amanda found skits helped her delegate and all enjoyed the teamwork.

Each year, the Rotary provides RYLA scholarships for high school students, and when asked if attending RYLA was worth it, Christina quickly responded: "100% worth our time. We learned and enjoyed a lot more than we expected."

Look for RYLA scholarships next January through high school counselors.
