BrightStar Care under new part ownership in Wheaton

BrightStar Care, the nation's leading home care and medical staffing franchise with more than 365 locally owned and operated agencies, announced that its Wheaton location has added new part-owners to the team.

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage-Wheaton has expanded adding two long standing employees as new part-owners of the agency, Diane Vitolka and Leonard Sanchez. Diane has been with BrightStar Care since 2013 and serves as the director of nursing & compliance in addition to her new role as president and CEO. Leonard has been with the company since 2010 as the director of business development and now serves as the vice president and chief operating officer.

The duo decided to invest in the home care franchise to increase the positive impact they have on their community. With more than 33 years in nursing, Diane is passionate about caring for Alzheimer's/dementia patients and is a certified dementia practitioner and advocate for individualized care. Leonard's personal experience of caring for his father with Dementia and his son with Autism inspired him to consider a transition from a successful 20+ year career as a marketing executive within the high-tech/telecommunications industry to join BrightStar and invest in the organization that has supported him for more than 12 years.

With Leonard's marketing/business expertise and Diane's extensive nursing background, BrightStar Care of Central DuPage-Wheaton will continue to be a bright light in the community and the provider of choice for those in need of home care services.
