Marklund Day School students start fall session

All three Marklund Day School locations in Bloomingdale, Geneva and Elgin welcomed students back for the 2022-23 school year.

The nonpublic school provides specialized education and therapies for students ages 3 to 21 in MultiNeeds and Life skills programs.

Marklund Day School is committed to providing high-quality individualized educational and vocational programming for students with mild to complex disabilities, including autism.

They successfully transition students back to their home school district based upon academic, social, behavioral, and medical progress. Marklund Day Schools believe each student should be educated in the least restrictive environment possible.

Throughout the school year, they work collaboratively with school districts and parents/guardians to ensure students make progress toward their goals. If appropriate, they discuss transitioning students to their home school, based upon their academic, social, behavioral, functional, and medical progress.
