York High School students Maleena Dominguez and Niko Lorenz were each awarded a $500 scholarship from the Elmhurst Artists' Guild.

Students were asked to enter the competition last fall.

The Elmhurst Artists' Guild then promotes the students in the Alliance of Fine Arts scholarship program.

Congratulations to Niko Lorenz and Maleena Dominguez and a special thanks to their art teacher Renee Kucharchuk.
