Glenbard West Theatre to present 'Little Women' April 21-23

Glenbard West Theatre will present its spring musical, "Little Women," on April 21-23.

It is based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, with the book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland.

"Little Women" is the beloved story of the adventures of the four March sisters, brought to vivid musical life in Louisa May Alcott's classic tale. A Civil War story filled with adventure, imagination, heartbreak and a deep sense of hope. The struggle of these "Little Women" to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America. With joyful melodies, memorable characters and a big-hearted message, "Little Women" reminds us that "sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true."

"Little Women" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday to Saturday, April 21-23, in the auditorium at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
