SCARCE to host Green Garden Market April 30

Kick off your gardening season with SCARCE.

Visit the Growin' Green Garden Market for eco-friendly garden supplies, organic seedlings, rain barrels, eco-goods and advice to help you grow green!

It will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at SCARCE, 800 S. Rohlwing Road (Route 53), just north of North Avenue in Addison.

Purchase food scrap amended compost and rain barrels to keep your garden healthy.

Pre-orders of rain barrels and compost are available at scarce.org/growin-green.

The market will also feature native plants, organic vegetable seedlings, CBD products, eco products, dog treats, music and more.

Join one of the mini workshops to learn about backyard chickens or how to compost.

Kids will have fun at the Market with activities to make and take home.

This is a rain or shine event and also pet friendly.

SCARCE (which stands for School and Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education) is an environmental education non-profit and resource center. It provides educational programs for all ages and books and supplies to schools and non-profits.
